EA and Random House Want You to Read a Book
Jan 26th
So you’re already buying Dante’s Inferno for your platform of choice when it drops in February, as well as the animated epic DVD…so how else can EA get you to part with your hard-earned cash in the name of their hot new IP? Why, through books of course!
Re-releasing Inferno (the first part of Dante Alighieri’s The Divine Comedy) under Random House’s Del Rey label, the book will introduce gamers to the writings of the Italian scholar. It will also confuse gamers when they wonder why the hell Dante’s talking to everyone and not just hacking them apart with his bone scythe. As an added bonus, the book boasts a 16-page full-color insert detailing the creative process of translating a centuries-old poem into a modern blockbuster gaming title.

Coming 2010

Working on this game was an incredible experience. The cast is top notch and the creative minds behind the scenes, the ones that really make the experience worthwhile are amazing. Oh and in case you’re wondering who I am? I’m the ugly bastard at the end… “You… You did this to me!” FUN!!
We also have an animated film coming out at the same time. So look for that as well.
